1. Nouns
Nouns are people, places, things, or ideas.
Examples:

Maria is my friend.

This is my dog.

We live in a big city.
 
2. Pronouns
Pronouns replace nouns so we don’t repeat words (it, he, she, they).
Examples:
- 
This is my brother. He is 10.

I like this dress. It is beautiful.

They are my classmates.
 
3. Verbs
Verbs are action words or states (be, feel, like).
Examples:
- 
We run every morning.
 - 
She is happy.
 - 
I like pizza.
 
4. Adjectives
Adjectives describe nouns (they tell us what something is like).
Examples:

It is a big house.

She has brown hair.
 - 
This cake is delicious.
 
5. Adverbs
Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Many end in -ly.
Examples:
- 
He runs quickly.

This is very easy.

She sings beautifully.
 
6. Prepositions
Prepositions show place, time, or relationship.
Examples:
- 
The cat is under the table.
 - 
We meet at 7 o'clock.
 - 
The book is on the desk.
 
7. Conjunctions
Conjunctions join words or ideas.
Examples:

I like apples and oranges.

Stay here, or come with us.
 - 
She is sad because it’s raining.
 
8. Interjections
Interjections show feelings or reactions.
Examples:

Wow! This is amazing!
 - 
Oh no! I forgot my keys!
